Here is the challenge piece, which I named Heart On A Shield:
Here's a second version, with bird.
Can you identify the mysterious shield-like object that forms the pendant base? What is that shapely thing?
First person to guess correctly will receive a fabulous prize! (Namely, one of these purty necklaces, OR a goodie bag of random crafty supplies.)
How it works: leave your guess in the comments. There'll be two winners: first correct guess and a random winner. So even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), you could still win. If your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.
This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere. C'mon, join in!

Looks like the lid of a tiny toilet!
ReplyDeleteHugs
These are toilet seat lids from when the Smurfs renovated their bathrooms!
ReplyDeletekdb1124@excite.com
I think they might be flip-top lids from a tube container.
ReplyDeleteOh no, someone already called dibs on my little toilet seat guess. I'll go with a drain stopper then.
ReplyDeleteLid of a plastic mirror or lid of a flip top container (of maybe some cream)
ReplyDeleteI think they must be caps of some kind, to bottles or tubes. They sure are cute.
ReplyDeleteminichimis@hotmail.com
It's the cap to cover the screws that attach your toilet seat.

I think the answer is just above me here, but I sure do think your necklaces are awesomely steampunkish! Perfect for valentines!
ReplyDeleteThey are an anchor for attaching a mirror to a wall. Sounds good anyways!
ReplyDeleteI think they are paper clips
ReplyDeleteThe top to a vinegar bottle that attached to the neck of the bottle.. youngatheart1955@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteLooks like old fashioned pill bottle tops, the non child proof kind. Amy Lee oggywasps@talktalk.net

The ornaments off of the Christmas tree of foreigners from the Middle East who have no idea what it's about.
ReplyDeleteSakura
Perhaps a contact lens case lid. Most come off completely, but I think there are some that are connected. Maybe a Mento container lid. Oh well, I tried.
ReplyDeleteI also think this a compact mirror lid.
ReplyDeleteThe pop up lid to sanitizing wipes.

Thanks, Jean - you are now officially a playah!
I think that it is a snap top lid to a plastic bottle of some kind. Sue @ silverhairmadam11965@verizon.net
ReplyDeleteYes, mini toilet seat was my first thought too..definitely some kind of lid!
ReplyDeleteAre these the thingies that go over the screws that hold the tiolet lid on?
ReplyDeletelittle is known of the Dread Pirate White 'Stache but this is fine example of his signature eye patch
ReplyDeleteMy guess was the cover that goes over the screws on a toilet seat but I see that other people have guessed that already. Second guess..well they're obviously very fancy nipple covers for strippers/ topless dancers!! LOL!!! ♥

ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with "Modern Fairy's toilet lid." It's from her totally upper class Manhattan apartment. I don't think she'll be happy when she comes home and finds it missing. A^_
Where do you get all your adorable filigree?
ReplyDeleteAnd, uh, I'll guess they're giant sugar flower petals. Shame on you, sneaking them out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
czm1991@yahoo.com
Hi, czm! I get them online at Fire Mountain Gems. The big antiqued filigrees are earring findings, and the hearts and birds are charms. I love your guess!
