Do you like them? Sorta mod, sorta Zen...and mysterious, I hope. What are those fancy buttressed balls?
First person to guess correctly wins a fabulous prize. (Namely, your choice of one of these necklaces.)
How it works: leave your guess in the comments. There'll be two winners: first correct guess, and a random winner. That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win. And if your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.
This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere. C'mon, join in!
THE ONE AND ONLY RULE
1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS. (Fun fact: if you only THINK your email is visible in your profile, it probably isn't.)

easy! the world charm off the cat's collar in Men in Black
ReplyDeleteToo easy... These are Dryer Fluff Balls, that you toss in the dryer to help fluff up your clothing/towels/whatever without having to use fabric softener.
ReplyDeleteDang, Welmoed beat me to my guess. Well then, I suppose I'll go with... what you find inside a bouncy ball if you cut it in half!
ReplyDeletehmmm- i'd buy the dryer puff ball answer... but I'm guessing that is modern furniture for Barbie...mlargaespada.ml@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy umpteenth failed attempt at making tortillas, and they were soooo hard this time that I was able to make slits in them and make them into a garland type hanging ornament that ended up being a great pendant for you! I the color came from trying to be Easter themed with the dough....
ReplyDeleteOOOH! I know this one.. but someone already have the answer... we use this in washing machine so the clothes wouldn't bundle up together.... hmmm...or...a massage ball... (yes...Jojo n Mei Mei use that on me sometimeS..when my bone 'bundle up' after cleaning up the mess they did!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that you would post this! Shame on you! Why of course, it is the thong organizer insert..you know, the plastic piece inside the egg shaped container to keep your itty bitty barely-there thongs separated. Wow! You are a brave woman! :)
ReplyDeleteYa..washing dryer balls..or Hanukkah Barbie's ultracool dreidels.
ReplyDeleteI have these!!! They are laundry balls. I'm almost positive....
ReplyDeleteTiny coffee filters!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
I think it is Barbie's ultra cool lawn furniture.
ReplyDeleteWait, another person already said that, dang! Hmm. I know, they are the next window display for Anthropologie! They will insert stems and make them into flowers or string them up as garlands. Yep. That has got to be it.
DeleteOT...where did you get the brown beads from? They are super cool.
DeleteHi, Shannon! They are pretty, aren't they? I took apart this bracelet, bought online:

DeleteOh snap that is a good deal for those beads. Thanks for sharing where you got them.
They are play-dough cutters and molds for my kids. You can roll 'em around to get odd shapes, and make little pyramids out of the inserts. ^_^ m4pl3g1rl (at) gmail (dot) com
ReplyDeleteohhh............ you found little tripple skeletons! I like that gothic touch! ^^
ReplyDeleteThey're from Barbie's swing set. So much fun when she has three friends over and they can all spin in a circle together.

ReplyDeleteI think they are the little plastic things that come in the middle of your pizza to keep the box from crushing your pie!!!!
You see, we naughty junior high kids decided that putting a tack on the teacher's chair was getting pretty old, so the geeks invented a spike ball to stick there instead. When somebody sits on it, the ball makes a horrible stick, drawing all eyes in the room, just in time to see a liquid yellow gunk dripping from the chair. Mwahahahahahahahahahahah! (That's why we nerds are so pale) Oh, and FWI Mr. Kramer, the stain doesn't come out.
ReplyDeleteUh, I meant stink, not "horrible stick"
DeleteUh, and FYI not FWI, Friday the 13th got me.
DeleteLovely necklaces. I'm thinking of either the plastic things you use to protect the corners of your furniture, or they are the things you hold to keep the socks together so they aren't separated in the laundry.....I think.... :-)
ReplyDeleteNot sure this time...but they remind me of cookies or crackers...mmmmm ;)
ReplyDeleteNot sure of their proper name but they're laundry balls. You put them in the dryer with your clothes.
ReplyDeleteLove all the answers so far, but I think it is a magic ball from the smurfs and what you are doing with it, I have NO IDEA, but they probably want it BACK! They are probably looking around all over for it right now like mad! Can you imagine what a ruckus you have caused in their little world....
ReplyDeleteajp2020@charter.net
they are dryer balls to help fluff your sheets and stuff , keeps them from becoming big balls of wet fabric . but maybe they are really jewelry supplies from the plastic store.
ReplyDeletehmm..to be very honest..I dont know whats this..but I love the beads of both necklaces ,very very cute...
ReplyDeleteThe bottom of plastic cups that you cut with special scisors and glued together ????????
ReplyDeletewould they be plastic things off bread or buns that help to keep the bags closed
ReplyDeletevicki.with.an.i@gmail.com
cat ball toy?
ReplyDeleteWow they feel very familiar but I have no idea!!
ReplyDeleteI think they are dryer balls... but they could be platters for fairy cakes.
ReplyDeleteSee now, I have NEIN idea... Never in my sheltered life have I seen these pretty balls. But they make sweet pendants!
