Put on those ruminative head coverings, people! Because it's time to play a new round of my crafty giveaway game, Guess The Mystery Thing! Ready? Take a look at these cuties...
The challenge: identify the mysterious secret ingredient in this upcycled jewelry project. What are those round, five-petaled white objects?
First person to guess correctly wins a fabulous prize. (Namely, your choice among these fun cinquefoil necklaces.)
How it works: leave your guess in the comments. There'll be two winners: first correct guess, and a random winner. That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win. And if your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.
This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere. C'mon, join in!
THE ONE AND ONLY RULE
1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS. (Fun fact: if you only THINK your email is visible in your profile, it probably isn't.)
UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYBODY!
I know what it is! It is a coffee cup lid! The ones off of Starbucks and other coffees. Am I right?

DeleteHmmm I think it is some kind of lid, one those ones that you have to push and twist to get it open. Or maybe an empty-ish air freshener. Love the grey one esp though! Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is a saftey medicine bottle cap they keep kids and some adults out of prescription drugs! Love your website. asherandamy @ gmail dot com

ReplyDeleteI agree with emptyish air freshener. Nice to have a good-smelling pendant hanging around your neck! Yet... how can it not be Astronaut Barbie's UFO?
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be a modified plastic cap of some sort, eh? ... Am I right? Did I actually guess it correctly?...
ReplyDeleteCould there be spray paint cans in your garage that are missing their lids?
ReplyDeleteIt's the inside part of a medicine bottle from the pharmacy that is childproof. Congrats on getting those little rascals open! : )

ReplyDeleteMy holiday cookie sprinkles come in five-sided jar with sectioned lids so you can choose, will this cookie have four-leaf clovers on top or will it have green sugar sand? I think it's that lid. Who did you recruit to make and eat all those cookies so you'd have enough lids? Why didn't you ask me to help???? Denapage at gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI believe the base is a sand dollar and I absolutely love your ingenuity and looking at things with a different eye. lovinafreed@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI think it's white clay that you've drawn the design on it! Way off from everyone else. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's the sectioned sprinkle jar lid, too ~ or maybe a pillbox...
ReplyDeleteLovely blog; I'm a new follower!

Back off, everyone - I got this.
ReplyDeleteIT'S A UFO.
It sort of looks like the top to spice jar that I have that has five different sections and a different spice in each section, but is a bit smaller. Perhaps it is 5 day pill box instead?
ReplyDeleteHmmm...hard to see really....my guess - some sort of something or other used for some sort of something or other! :) cre8ivespace@yahoo.com (p.s.-did you ever get my other email from last contest?)
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't - I hope you can resend it! Because I need to send you some shtuff...please email me, Mixikim!
DeleteI say it kind of looks like the spinner on a pins container that allows the pins to come out if you turn it to where the notches are??? my guess....calcrochetnut@msn.com
ReplyDeleteIts Barbie's old satellite dish...she's doing netflicks these days
ReplyDeleteYou took the bottom off a plastic water bottle and created a paper mold of it, which you colored with Sharpies. Right?
