Okay, campers! Let's play a new round of GUESS THE MYSTERY THING! Anyone can play - it's super quick and simple. All you do is take a look at my latest upcycled jewelry project:
Now here's the game: the first person to identify those mysterious red curvy bits wins one of the jewels.
What say ye? Any ideas? I think this is a really tricky one. (Famous last words...)
Hint: it's an upcycled holiday item.
How it works: Leave your guess in the comments. There will be two winners: first correct guess and one random guess. That's right, a random winner! So even if you're stumped, guess anyway - you could still win.
This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere. (You don't even have to be a follower of the blog, although I would lurve it if you were.)
The one and only rule:
1. If your email isn't available in one click from an online profile, please, please, please include your email address with your guess.
UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYBODY! REVEAL COMING SOON!
Sorry NO IDEA! I even got my daughters (aged 6 and 8) to have a look and they drew a blank too - unless you count them saying some kind of wheel!!?? (funny shaped wheels)

Vampire teeth! You pulled out the fangs, leaving those holes behind.
ReplyDelete... Yeah, that's all I got on this one.
Oh dear...Jojo toy horse have lost it shoes...OMG! You made them into your earrings!
ReplyDeleteA belt buckle made from red licorice...like twizzlers. ???? Or one of those things that holds the BIG candle on a BIG BIRTHDAY cake!
ReplyDeleteOh, Alex beat me to the punch. I was going to say vampire teeth, minus the fangs too.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a toilet training seat for My Little Pony
ReplyDeleteVampire teeth, with the fangs cut off.
ReplyDeleteThough I could also see a tiny sled with handles on the side, however the fairy that owns this one is from the poor side of town and can't afford a new one even though the middle has worn away from all the trips down the icy hill.

I agree they look like vampire teeth to me too.
ReplyDeleteNOT A CLUE! lol - so I guess I just have to wait and find out when you do the big reveal!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kerry
My first thought was a cookie cutter, but that is ridiculous. Um...molds made from the footprints of the reclusive ponybear.

I know it has already been guessed but I am in the vampire teeth camp. I worked in a costume shop for years. I'm pretty confident about this.
ReplyDeleteAnyway , that's LOVELY ! I like them ! maybe plastic clothes pegs ?
ReplyDeleteFinally, one I recognize and I've been beaten to the punch! I totally recognized them as plastic vampire teeth.

It's already been guessed....clearly it is vampire teeth; fangs removed.
ReplyDeleteThese are hard. Mr or Mrs Potato Head's accessories? My Halloween Mr PH doesn't have vampire teeth just a ghost costume, but he would look adorable with vampire teeth.
ReplyDeletePart of a candy packaging?
ReplyDeleteClamps to hold down a tree skirt? I was thinking cookie cutters, but they're a pretty weird shape for a cookie!
ReplyDeleteA santa magnet backwards & painted red? giviyah@yahoo.ca
ReplyDeleteI was going to say vampire teeth too. Then I realized that would mean there was one center tooth instead of two center teeth. So...I'm going with DEFECTIVE plastic vampire teeth.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the middle tooth is what made me unsure of my guess initially, but I think I've since located the items used, and lo and behold - middle tooth. Red vampire teeth, top and bottom separated, fangs cut off.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking a santa children's toy. Hmmm.... Whatever it is it's so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteYes I realize you've closed the challenge and have already revealed the mystery. How did I miss this I don't know.... Anyway I think they are some sort of cord holders and I get to find out right away if I'm right. Going to check now, hee hee...
ReplyDeletehhhhmmmmm... fake vanpire teeth? looks like u cutt them in half and the extra long canines off....
