Okay, people, 'tis time...time for a new round of Guess the Mystery Thing! If you can identify the strange upcycled objects in these jewels, you could win one.
Those white plastic doodads are the mystery. Don't they look like teeny guitars, sort of?
So...who knows what they are? Anyone?
Leave your guess in the comments. There will be two winners: first correct guess and one random guess. If nobody gets it, there will be two random winners. So even if you're stumped, guess anyway, you could still win. The crazier the guess, the better!
This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere. (You don't even have to be a follower of the blog, although I would lurve it if you were.)
The one and only rule:
1. If your email isn't available in one click from an online profile, be sure to include your email address with your guess.
Alrighty, then. Go ahead with your bad self. On your marks...get set...Guess the Mystery Thing!!!
UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYONE!

ReplyDeleteOoo, oo, I know! The end of those little medicine dropper thingies that you twist off - do you have any idea what I'm talking about??
ReplyDeleteLately I've been having to snap off a little plastic piece that gets stuck between the plastic milk container and the handle. The cheap equipment they use to manufacture the plastic milk containers obviously doesn't cut all the way through and they make us poke it out. Maybe once upon a time they had someone do that job, but in these hard economic times that position has been eliminated.
ReplyDeleteAre they the little plastic handles from those dental floss things?
ReplyDeletethey are the tabs that seperate my pills - you know the little green ones that keep me from dancing naked in the moon light, the ones I take every day,,,
ReplyDeletewait...
Somewhere there's a poor little gecko running around missing his back scratcher...watch out..there'll be a geico commercial soon enough with michelle and the geico gecko..get ready for your 15 minutes :)
ReplyDeleteSomewhere there is a teeny little British punk rocker crying in his hair gel because you stole his favorite opaque Flying V.
ReplyDeleteAnd his teeny little amp was even set to 11.
Those are the plastic pieces you twist off of the fruit drink bottles. I think. Or they are the guitars the crickets use in my garden to play their music that keeps me up half the night.
ReplyDeleteOoops! Forgot the email...aden82@frontier.com
ReplyDeleteI tend towards some sort of stirrer thing...but I am always wrong.
ReplyDeleteI do like them though - especially the first earring pair.
Are they stirring things for epoxy? Or medicine droppers?
ReplyDeleteEither way, those are some spankin' cool earrings!

I'd say they're for applying polydent to dentures, mind you I hope none of us ever know of such a thing, or for smoothing out the grout on the edge of your lovely just complete mosaic table.
ReplyDeleteno idea what those are... never seen such things... stumped am I... downright flummoxed, perplexed and baffled... so I guess I'll guess... they could possibly be some form of packaging. you know sometimes you get a new thing and it comes with some interesting bits of plastic that help keep the whole thing from falling apart in the package. see what I'm driving at?
ReplyDeleteNose strips? Like the Breathe Right strips?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Laurie, I think they are from dental flossers...but maybe they're just some cute little piece of nothing that came to you in the night calling, "Craft with me!!!" :)
ReplyDeleteelg1973@yahoo.com
