What if you popped it open, sprayed it with metallic paint, filled it with sparkly beads or gems, and glued it back together? Would that make a cool-looking pendant? I'd try it myself, but I'm lazy. ;-)
Everytime I buy balls like that, they disappear into the same place and only the cat knows there they are!
I saw someone yesterday with the COOLEST earrings - and they were made from fishing lures! I told her about you and she was in awe! Of course, she suggested you go to the Goodwill store and buy stuff they put in bins for $1/bag, to upcycle - otherwise they just throw these things away. Wise girl she was. But, she loves what you do. Me too. My cats too, but they would miss their toys, if I could ever find them....
Hey! It's one way to lure your cat into playing with you!... You could get hurt, though. Looks like some souvenir from the World's Fair or the Olympics. You are a caution! We love you!
I'm with you, Mich. I have four cats, about 7 gazillion cat toys, no inhibitions whatsoever and ONE leftover toy just like the one you used. AND THERE SHALL BE A MOTTO, AND THE MOTTO SHALL BE- WHY NOT?? Well, I can tell you why not, because the toy is full of cat saliva, cat hair and other cat things (yeah, lets go with "things", okay?), but that's not the spirit. AND THE MOTTO SHALL BE- WHY NOT??
Haha!
