One cup flour, 1/2 tsp. oregano, pinch of shabby chic.

I've never been terribly good at shabby chic, although I always love the gorgeous ways other people rock it. But I came across these itty bitties at a yard sale:

Vintage cut class salt shakers, eight for a dollar! And I could not resist trying something shabby to the chic.

I threaded a piece of wire through two holes -

Then made a wrapped loop on top.

At the same yard sale, I bought a broken vintage bracelet:

I put 'em together, and ended up with...

Because it's a substantial size, you wouldn't want this pendant right up around your neckline. I made this piece quite long, for a better drape.

Looks so cute with a white tee and jeans.

And don't forget it's also a bottle pendant with a working lid. Tuck something inside: a handwritten wish scroll, a tiny treasure, or some lucky salt for tossing over your left shoulder!

And here's one more notion. Insert crumpled paper, fabric or colorful seed beads to change the color.

This is one you can customize to infinity. Match a different outfit every day!
